Pada menit ke 6 Pedro dengan aksinya yang menawan membuat pertahanan Racing Santander terbuka. Ia berhasil mengecoh Francis namun bola hasil tendangannya masih melebar.
Pada menit ke 23 Messi melakukan Tendangan bebas dan berhasil diterima oleh Cuenca. Ia langsung mengumpankan bola tersebut kepada Iniesta. Gelandang Spanyol tersebut tak berhasil memaksimalkan peluangnya karena bola sedikit melayang di atas mistar gawang.
Pada menit ke 29 Lionel Messi akhirnya memecahkan kebuntuan Barca. Kerjasama antara Xavi dan Fabregas berhasil memberikan peluang bagi Messi. Sebuah assist dari Fabregas berhasil dimaksimalkan Messi dengan mencetak sebuah gol ke gawang Racing Santander. Gol ini membuat Barca unggul 1-0 hingga babak pertama berakhir.

Pada menit ke 85 Pedro memiliki peluang menjebol gawang Santander, bisa selamat berkat penampilan gemilang sang kiper. Mario berhasil menggagalkan peluang yang dimiliki oleh Pedro.
Namun sampai babak kedua berakhir Barca yang mampu tampil dominan hingga laga usai tidak menambah gol. Barca pun menang dengan skor akhir 2-0.
Dengan kemenangan ini tak mengubah posisi Los Cules di peringkat kedua klasemen sementara La Liga. Mengumpulkan 60 poin dari hasil 26 kali main, Barca masih kalah sepuluh angka dari Real Madrid yang menguasai posisi puncak klasemen La Liga.

QUIÉN LA SIGUE, LA CONSIGUE
Lo han conseguido, otra vez. Han vuelto a demandar a la directiva de Laporta, ahora desde el poder, y de la peor manera, tirando la piedra y escondiendo la mano. Denegaron la posibilidad de defenderse a los acusados, pusieron a un trabajador de una empresa auditora a explicar delante de los compromisarios un resumen sesgado de la famosa due diligence.
Todo con un fin, hacer pagar a Laporta el sufrimiento que ha padecido la actual directiva todos estos años. Porque sí, no nos engañemos, han sufrido, aunque el Barça viviera los mejores años de su vida, esta gente sufría. Por un lado gozaban, por que los creo barcelonistas, pero en lo más adentro sentían una puñalada que los envenenaba. Y no han dejado de intentar acabar con Laporta en diferentes ocasiones. Que nadie se engañe, esos que se sentaron en las posiciones presidenciales de la asamblea, son los mismos que han perseguido, desde la sombra por supuesto, a Laporta durante todo su mandato. Desde la sombra, sí, ese es su estilo, necesitan la oscuridad para atacar, como alimañas, esperan su momento y dejan a la víctima sola sin protección para que otros depredadores acaben con ella, ensuciarse las manos no es lo suyo, es poco rentable.
Y hasta parecía que lo estaba pasando mal y todo al tener que llevar a cabo el despellejamiento público a la directiva de Laporta. La cara de descolocado de Rosell, la suya propia, la que tiene, en ocasiones le funciona y todo, aunque a veces pueda parecer que no se sabe si está o si aún se le espera.
Los acusadores de Laporta parecen tener mil y un motivos para despotricar de él y de su gestión. Y son tan viscerales que parecen tener razón. Son tan persistentes que nadie se atreve a llevarles la contraria, a fuerza de repetirnos las mismas teorías absurdas nos lo hemos acabado creyendo. El mayor talón de Aquiles del ex presidente es el tema social. Como en lo deportivo no se le ha podido criticar, los críticos no le perdonan la gestión de lo social, el no esconder sus teorías independentistas básicamente.
Pues bien, la rama social ha sido uno de los puntos fuertes de la gestión de Laporta. Su aportación a causas benéficas, a la creación de escuelas en lugares desfavorecidos, el contrato con Unicef, etc., todo esto ha hecho que el Barça ocupe el lugar preferencial en los corazones de todo el mundo, desde EEUU hasta Japón, el Barça es conocido y admirado. Esto ha sido debido a Nuñito? Debido a Gaspar? Debido a Rosell?... No señores, todo esto ha sido gracias a Laporta. Y si queremos ir por el lado independentista, aludiendo a una teórica animadversión de los españoles por la tendencia independentista del presidente, pues diría que actualmente hay más odio de los españoles al gran Real Madrid que a nosotros. Si hasta la única persona que ví hablar en la asamblea de fuera de catalunya, de Granada, defendió la gestión de Laporta.
La decisión final por mayoría simple (unos 29 votos) no me sorprendió, si acaso positivamente, creía que conseguirían más apoyo. La gente del Barça tiene una manera peculiar de hacer las cosas. Solo así se entiende que después de Nuñez, eligieron al perro de presa Gaspart teniendo la opción de votar a Bassat, un tío triunfador en la vida y bien preparado, así nos fue.
Nada más, me parece justo la propuesta de Laporta, si pierden el juício, que paguen los costes de su bolsillo.
BARÇA - VALENCIA
Gran partido, buen equipo el Valencia, nos quitó la pelota, vino a atacar, y casi consiguió vencer con ese estilo. A ver si otros siguen su ejemplo, porque otro fútbol es posible, al Inter se le apareció la virgen (o Benquerença).
En la segunda parte mejoró el Barça, fueron netamente superiores y merecieron el triunfo. La crisis de Villa desaparecerá en cuanto meta dos seguidos, puede ser hoy mismo, y grande Mascherano.
Eso sí, para marcar goles hay que chutar, el querer entrar con el balón dentro de la portería está bien pero no como regla.
LA PERLA
El Madrid está recibiendo elogios después de su victoria contra el Milan. yo no quiero restársela, pero el Milan no está capacitado para seguir el ritmo a un equipo moderno, por favor.
LA VERGÜENZA
Ibra no se cansa de meterse con el Barça, hace tiempo que no veo a un tío tan desgraciado como el sueco. Ahora dice que los jugadores del Barça son de perfil bajo, por eso han ganado más títulos que los que ganará él en toda su vida. Si hasta necesitó el Inter que se fuera para vencer la Champions después de 40 años...

VIENTO EN POPA
Como no escribo desde la semana pasada, voy a intentar hacer un breve repaso de las cosas importantes que han pasado.
El sábado fue bueno para el Barça, el Madrid empató en casa del Levante, con un juego simplón y el Barça arrolló a un Athleti que, aunque mermado por la expulsión a Amorebieta, ya había comprobado desde el minuto 1 que iba a ser complicado arañar un punto. El Barça dio otra lección de juego ante un rival duro, con un Iniesta estelar y un Busquets de lujo. Nota negativa la expulsión de Villa, que debería no ser tan impulsivo, pues ahora juega en el Barça, seguro que le van a buscar más de una vez. Claro está que tener a un jugador como Gurpegui enfrente debe sacar de sus casillas al más tranquilo, sobretodo viendo como los árbitros son incapaces de frenar sus continuas entradas bruscas. La de Amorebieta considero que no fue roja, la fama de “buenazo” del chico no le ayudó lo más mínimo. Esta vez no lo merecía, pero va por las que lo ha merecido y no ha sido expulsado. Y el público “entendido” del Athleti silbando a Iniesta, pues demostrando que son igual de forofos que los de cualquier campo de España, porque, que la entrada solo mereciera amarilla, no quiere decir que Iniesta fingiera, eh señor Caparrós?
El Madrid juega a nada, aunque va ganando sus partidos, es normal que algúna ocasión tengan y la metan. Están mejor defensivamente que el año pasado, pero solo se han enfrentado a rivales menores. Veremos que hacen cuando se enfrenten a grandes, y por grandes no me refiero al Milan. Mourinho y su guerra nos beneficia, estoy convencido. Ahora odian al Madrid allá por donde pasa, y cada rueda de prensa ofrece 5 titulares a cual más patético, parece un niño pataleando. Desde aquí caso omiso, que se vaya envenenando él mismo con sus palabras, no vale la pena.
RUBÍN KAZÁN
Nos cuesta este equipo un horror. Y es que se cierran con 10 defensas ¡! Pero cuando salen a la contra lo hacen a la perfección, y combinan de fábula también. Y si tienen la fortuna de hacerte un gol pues no te quiero contar. Pero no fue un mal partido por nuestra parte, y lo tuvimos muy cerca, el Iniestazo esta vez salió desviado.
Por cierto, no he visto al Rubín peor que el Ajax y el Auxerre juntos, me gustaría ver al Madrid en Kazán a ver si al final le suena la flauta como le sonó en Auxerre.
